JISU HAN JUNG
is a Korean American object maker who splits his time between Seoul and NYC.
He holds a BFA in Product Design from Parsons School of Design and is currently pursuing an MFA in Furniture Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
Balancing the serious with the humorous, he creates objects that challenge stereotypes and invite viewers to reconsider familiar forms. His work reinterprets functionality, exploring how objects can transcend their expected roles to inspire new perspectives. By shifting perceptions of everyday things, he aims to spark curiosity and reflection.
